Stamping Process and Simulation Engineer
Professional Exposure
- Must have AutoForm & NX hands on skill to perform simulations & draw development.
- Work experience on sheet metal & Stamping knowledge.
- Should have Stamping process and Die Maintenance knowledge.
- Exposure to CAD tools such as Team Center, Team Center Vis mockup, Process Simulate and willing to learn further on virtual manufacturing tools.
- Add on value – Home line tryout and prove out of dies at plant to meet the Std’s.
- As per Ford GPDS Program scale, need to deliver the Stamping activities with respect to gateways.
- One Stop, Detailed/Full process feasibility simulation
- Draw development – Catia V5 & NX
- Die Process development – Catia & NX
- Morphing and springbok compensation with respect to GD&T tolerances
- PF file (Open flange) development for closure panels in Catia & NX
- Hemming Simulation to reduce /eliminate tryout die modifications.
- Hands skills on Die design in NX
- Should have hands on skill on “A” & “B” class parts (Ex. Hood, Lift/Tail gate, Door outer’ s/Inners, Body side outer, Rear Floor, Front floor, Wheelhouse inner, Dash panel, Body side inner, Sunroof & Fender)
- Communicate to customer with Feasibility Change Request (FCR)
Education Qualification : B.E/B. Tech (Stamping Advance Engineering)
Number of Years of Experience : 10 to 15
Management Skills (specifics)
- Flexible to work in shift, if necessary.
- Internal team, Counterpart (Other Ford plants) team & Suppliers management skill.
- Excellent Communication, analytical & Interpersonal skills, ability to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks.
