Staff Software Engineer, Service Provisioning, EasyGCP

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience with one or more general purpose programming languages such as Java, C/C++ or Python.
  • 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
  • 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master鈥檚 degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
  • Experience developing APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Experience in delivering cloud based products.

Responsibilities
  • Drive a technical strategy for the EasyGCP area including cooperation with partner teams across Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in scope of security, billing, API key management, Tenancy etc.
  • Design, represent EasyGCP team in technical discussions with partner, customers and Foundation Services leadership.
  • Work with EasyGCP EM and product managers to make sure technical direction matches product strategy and delivery timelines.
  • Guide team level team leads within the day to day work, review their designs, plans and shape team engineering culture.
