Staff Application Engineer

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 years of industry experience with experience in SAP ABAP, S/4 HANA, SAP BTP, CDS Views, RAP, SAP Fiori, and UI5 development.
• Experience with SAP implementation methodologies.
• Working experience of SAP Ecosystem platforms like Solution Manager, BPM modeling, Test Automation management systems.
• Experience in two or more supply chain domains around contract manufacturing and Inventory management, logistics, Planning, Warehouse Management, Order management, Asset Management.

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and Certified Google Cloud Platform Architects.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Processes, systems background related to supply chain and relational databases.
• Knowledge of B2B integrations, Middleware, and API implementation.

You lead all aspects of web development, requirements gathering, software development, testing, documentation, training, implementation, ongoing support, and maintenance for both in-house and customer-facing web applications. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of Googlers using UI and functional specs/prototypes as input. You are empowered to act like an owner, take action and innovate to meet user and customer needs.

As a Supply Chain Application Engineer, the role will be focusing on designing, developing and maintaining internal systems or third-party applications for Google and Alphabet supply chain and Data Centers around the globe. You will drive the strategy and lead/architect programs that involve new technologies or that integrate/implement multiple homegrown and third-party applications supporting supply chain and data center business processes.

• Be an expert in issue identification and resolution, writing modular and self-sustaining code.
• Maintain excellent development practices including: technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation/execution.
• Architect innovative solutions to automate and scale business systems.
• Provide direction for architecture, design, build, and support activities required for enterprise software platforms and drive for excellence, performance, and security.
