Software Engineer III, Geo Data Quality

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in C++ and Python.
  • Experience in data analysis using GoogleSQL and Flume.
  • Experience working with Machine Learning technologies.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
  • Experience working with Large Language Models and Generative AI.
  • Experience in system design.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive-level audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Improve and maintain the coverage and quality of place data.
  • Partner with client teams across multiple sites and organizations, including geo consumer and real world journeys, to deliver the data quality to end users.
  • Design and implement data processing pipelines and tools. Perform data analysis to identify data quality headroom opportunities.
  • Evaluate and experiment with data quality improvements applying machine learning techniques, including prompt engineering with LLMs.
  • Maintain a standard of engineering by consistently applying best practices in code health, maintainability, and testability.
