Software Engineer II, Chrome Enterprise Core
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
- 1 year of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
- Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience with client side development, either desktop or Android or mobile app development, or interest in learning.
- Proficient with C++ or Java.

Our ambitious goal is to have at least half of the Chrome Browser Management (millions of users and browsers) to happen in Cloud solution our teams are building. There is ever-growing need for additional visibility and actionability on security threats and end user productivity and our goal is to provide these tools to Enterprise administrators.Chrome is dedicated to building a better, more open web. We’re focused on making a better browser (on both desktop and mobile) to help users take advantage of all the web has to offer in a safe and secure way.Chrome is available across all major platforms — iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux and Chrome OS. We also built Chrome as an open source project so the entire web ecosystem could benefit from the latest innovations in speed, simplicity and security.

- Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
