$139,000/year to $200,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

- Architect RF front-end for cellular and connectivity technologies.
- Design,develop and optimize RF hardware circuits for consumer electronic products.
- Review product designs such as schematic, PCB layout.
- Perform RF link budget analysis and debug RF issues in the lab.
- Responsible for part selection, prototyping and factory bring up.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure RF performance is met at component, board and system level.
- Perform EM simulations using tools like HFSS, ADS to optimize design.
- Domestic/international travel as needed.
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in wireless consumer electronics/RF component design or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing RF circuits for cellular and connectivity products and familiarity using RF test equipment.
- Familiarity in RF schematic and PCB layout best practices.
- Familiarity using EM tools to optimize RF design.
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Radio frequency (RF )circuits or RF system design or Electromagnetics.
- 6+ years of work experience in designing Cellular RF hardware solutions for consumer electronics.
- Experience in Cellular RF design, optimization and validation.
- Proficient in wireless communication standards.
- Proficient in one or more RF and electromagnetic simulation tools such as ADS, Ansys,CST etc.
