Multi-Physics Simulation Engineer
At Meta Reality Labs, we are developing the future of Wearables and Mixed Reality products and this team focuses on developing display and optics technologies for Meta products. Their mission is to create see-through display systems that seamlessly blend the real and virtual realms. This involves designing the architecture and all display sub-systems for AR glasses based on leading technologies developed by Meta鈥檚 teams. We work on creating advanced display technologies that are essential for AR and VR systems while having sub-teams who connect bits, electrons, photons, and user experience for display products across wearables and the metaverse while focusing on display silicon architecture, applied perception studies, image quality, and defining the roadmap and long-term platform development strategy. Within XDO we also aim to develop and implement test, characterization, metrology, and data solutions to support the creation of transparent display systems.
As a Multi-Physics Simulation Engineer at Meta, you will take a critical role in developing next generation AR/VR Systems. You will become part of a team exploring new concepts through mechanical design, optical modeling and fast iterative prototyping. A wide range of approaches will be explored combining electrical, mechanical, optical, firmware, and software techniques. Our teams brainstorm big ideas, work in new technology areas and have demonstrated experience to drive a concept into a prototype and then mature the design to a high-volume consumer product solution. This team works on broad engineering fundamentals as well as experience designing and manufacturing consumer technology products.Multi-Physics Simulation Engineer Responsibilities
