- Develop and implement excellent manufacturing and quality processes for the next generation of disruptive compute & storage hardware products.
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for Meta’s open compute & storage hardware technologies by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, and testing.
- Ensure product and process quality targets are met by designing test methods, establishing standards, and driving continuous improvement projects with Facebook manufacturing partners and key commodity suppliers.
- Drive root cause and corrective action for failures that occur during server integration, rack production, and in the Data Center.
- Early engagement with Facebook Engineering teams to implement robust DFx requirements and ensure products meet cycle-time, cost, quality, and yield targets.
- Create and maintain all production process and quality documentation.
- Conduct First Article and Source Inspections reviews on Facebook hardware components and assemblies.
- Create BOMs, engineering change notifications, and manufacturing process changes through product lifecycle management tools.
- Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field, and 48 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation
- Requires 48 months of experience in the following:
- 1. Manufacturing or engineering quality control tools and methodologies
- 2. Product development, manufacturing processes, and test/debug methodologies for technology products
- 3. Computer hardware architecture and technologies
- 4. Managing multiple Supplier engagements and driving continuous improvement through Supplier Audits and proactive engagements
- 5. Product lifecycle management tools including BOM and change management and
- 6. Deriving and implementing field KPIs to monitor product and process quality health
