Fullstack Software Engineer-TikTok Web Arch

TikTok's Web Architecture department is seeking a skilled and visionary Fullstack Software Engineer and Software Architect to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of our web development initiatives. You will lead the strategic planning and execution of key aspects such as Web Application Architecture, Applied AI Technology, Large-Scale Frontend Monorepo Toolchain and Infra and more.

Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development and implementation of TikTok Web gateway layer, ensuring high availability and stability to support global TikTok users' access requirements
- Design and develop service middleware to expand business capabilities for various TikTok frontend applications
- Implement dynamic traffic scheduling and configuration capabilities, design and develop flexible traffic distribution and routing strategies
- Design, implement and optimize continuous deployment capabilities for TikTok frontend applications, improve frontend development efficiency and standardize business processes
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, and QA teams, to ensure seamless integration of web components within the broader TikTok ecosystem.
- Innovation and Research: Stay abreast of the latest web technologies, trends, and industry practices. Evaluate and recommend new tools, frameworks, and methodologies to enhance the team's efficiency.
- Performance Optimization: Work collaboratively with Performance Engineers to optimize web applications for speed, responsiveness, and scalability, ensuring an exceptional user experience.
