Enterprise Network Engineer
Meta is seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise network infrastructure, leveraging Meta's software and tooling stack.Enterprise Network Engineer Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain network architecture and infrastructure plans supporting large-scale distributed systems.
- Troubleshoot network issues and outages, and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with other engineering groups to ensure our network infrastructure continues to support applications and services effectively.
- Monitor network performance and integrity, and make adjustments as needed to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Ensure all network infrastructure is compliant with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other team members.
- Participate in on-call rotation for network support.
- Build tools in support of network data analysis and production execution
- Analyze data to diagnose and identify root causes to network and tooling issues.
- 3+ years of professional experience in network engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proficiency in networking protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, etc.).
- Proficiency in Python, or other similar programming languages.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix
- MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with troubleshooting problems as it relates to at least one networking system or platform (IP, Optical, Web servers, load balancers, storage systems etc).
- Experience with developing software in the context of building and/or operating large scale networking systems.
- Experience with network automation tools like Ansible, SaltStack, or
- Experience in designing, deploying and operating networks at scale.
- Experience with Data Centers and PoP/Colo both infrastructure and network engineering
- Experience with MPLS/VPN or SRv6 technologies
