$224,195/year to $231,110/year + bonus + equity + benefits

- Responsible for the power circuit design, simulation, validation, and characterization across multiple products ensuring their successful delivery.
- Evaluate and enable innovative solutions for cost, size, efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Generates design documentations, perform schematic capture and power delivery network simulation both pre and post board layout, prototype bring-up and design validation.
- Will find the root-cause and solve technical issues during new product development and in field escalations.
- Characterizes power consumption, battery run time, battery charging/discharging curve at each NPI build.
- Writes scripts to collect power, compute, thermal measurements and drive every mA of power out of the system cross-functionally.
- Master’s degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or in an engineering-related occupation.
- Requires two years of experience in the following:
- 1. Battery Management System
- 2. Power conversion such as linear and of switching regulators
- 3. Mobile charger IC and wireless charge system
- 4. System level integration of products using SoCs and micro-controllers, data and video interfaces: USB, HDMI, DisplayPort, and MIPI
- 5. High density and high speed circuit board design and validation
- 6. JDM, ODM, and CM partners
- 7. Schematic and board layout using Cadence OrCAD or Altium, AND
- 8. Analyzing root cause, design debugging, and problem solving with engineering test equipment.
