Discrete Event Simulation Engineer

•    DES Simulation Engineer will execute Throughput Simulation studies and provide solutions to reduce cost and complexity for the Global Plants & vehicle Programs.

•    Creation and execution of Automotive and / or Paint shop Vehicle Flow simulation process models to optimize the production process, improve operational efficiency, & cost saving strategies.
•    Develop, define, and simulate models using Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation to enhance operational efficiency.
•    Evaluate the existing / new plant layouts and propose Optimal Solutions to achieve the target & purpose. 
•    Validation of simulation models for the brown field plants through problem solving & deliver “Key results” to drive the business decisions. 
•    Identify bottlenecks, conduct iterative simulations, and using analytical data for the automotive manufacturing Paint Engineering
•    Understand the scope clearly and collect the inputs, create library database, automate the modelling process within Digital thread using Sim talk syntax and Easy plan, Layout and inputs mapping automated.
•    Data analysis & Statistical modelling with the tools to analyze simulation results and validate model output. Crucial skills expecting for interpreting Simulation findings and making informed decisions based on model predictions. 
 
 

•    B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Industrial / Automobile) and added advantage such as NIT’s and other similar institutes. 
•    Deep understanding of DES methodologies & Proficiency in Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation
•    Proven track record of working with SimTalk or VBA for simulation programming and automation
•    Coding proficiency like Python, Java, or C++ required for implementing and customizing DES models using simulation software or building custom Simulation engines. 
•    Siemens Tecnomatix Plant Simulation Training certificates would be beneficial
•    Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in automotive assembly and production lines.
•    Communication skills, interpretation skills, presentation skills, team collaboration and project management 
•    High level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
