Backend Software Engineer - TikTok Privacy Product

Responsibilities
As a Backend Software Engineer on the TikTok Privacy Product team, you will:
• Design, build, and maintain systems that enhance privacy across the TikTok;
• Work with engineering and product teams to ensure that TikTok is compliant with privacy laws and regulations from a technical perspective;
• Lead large and cross function projects. Can work in parallel with other engineers and stakeholders and reassemble into a cohesive launch. Work is tactical and strategic.
• Impacts software architecture, dependencies, performance, and business value.
• Respond to privacy incidents, if they occur, including collecting information on scope and root cause as well as managing remediation.
