Analog Mixed Signal Validation Engineer
Our silicon team is pushing the state-of-the-art with breakthrough work in computer vision, machine learning, mixed reality, graphics, power delivery, interconnect, displays, sensors, and new ways to map the human body. We work across the entire stack of system design, from transistors, architectures, firmware, and algorithms. Our chips will enable AR and VR devices to mix and match the real and virtual worlds throughout the day.
As an AMS Chip Application Engineer at Meta, you will work with a world-class group of engineers creating high-performance and low-power custom designs for our AR/VR chips. Special focus areas will include breakthrough displays, sensors, interconnects and power. Your primary responsibility will include interfacing with analog mixed signal/digital designers, system engineers, firmware engineers to develop and execute post-silicon validation test plan, silicon bringup and debug as well as developing post-Si validation infrastructure and automation toolkits for analog mixed signal ICs. $142,000/year to $203,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

- Collaborate with AMS/digital designers to develop post-Si validation plan and execute the validation plan
- Drive post-Si debug efforts and root-cause analysis to identify work arounds and Si fixes
- Support device integration and system-level validation from IC perspective
- Shape post-Si validation infrastructure including hardware, software, and automation scripts to improve execution quality and efficiency
- Develop firmware for AMS ICs and collaborate with designers/verification engineers for pre-Si verification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in post-Si validation and firmware development for analog mixed signal ICs and/or IPs
- Experience in developing Post-Si validation infrastructure with working knowledge of lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, BERT, logic analyzers etc.
- Solid experience in programming languages (Python, C++)
- Solid understanding of one or more analog mixed signal designs such as high-speed I/O, low noise sensor, power management ICs, VCSEL drivers
- Proven track record of project and team leadership
- Self-motivated and independently managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- 7+ years of experience in post-Si validation and firmware development for analog mixed signal ICs and/or IPs
